Clavis Books automates its order-to-cash process with Hyperfox

Clavis Books publishes children's books, and came to Hyperfox with a clear brief: automate customer operations end to end, with AI. Under the direction of Kristien Werck, Clavis has been reshaping the company around AI at speed, across every part of the business. For customer operations they chose Hyperfox — a Belgian player with a partnership with Google DeepMind, working closely with Anthropic's Claude models alongside it.

What runs automatically now

Hyperfox handles the order-to-cash process on three fronts. Orders arriving by email are read, validated and posted without anyone retyping them. Webshop orders flow through the same pipeline. And B2B customers get their own portal, where each of them sees only their own products at their own agreed prices — which is what makes it usable for a publisher with very different terms per account. The more awkward international flows are handled in the same run.

Under a month, and 98% accurate

What stands out is how quickly it landed. The full transformation took less than a month. On incoming email the system runs at 98% accuracy — and that is on real traffic, where a single message can carry twenty orders of a hundred lines each.

AI touches every part of our business, so for customer operations we did not want an experiment — we wanted something that worked straight away. It was live within the month, and the accuracy was there from day one. That pace surprised us more than anything.

Next: an intelligence layer

The next phase is already under way. Together with Clavis we are building an intelligence layer that will steer customer operations close to autonomously — not just processing what arrives, but deciding what should happen with it.
